Few people have total understanding of the processes of innovation, and only a handful is able to put such skill in entrepreneurial practice. With the growing demand for individuals in the business landscape who are able to do both tasks, there is clearly a need for specialist expertise in these two fields having said that, to be able to secure a Master of Science (MSc) in Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship is a professional and academic goal worth contemplating. This is one definitive way to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about the key areas of strategic innovations and entrepreneurship. To be able to secure a higher degree in the aforementioned fields would give me the opportunity to further enhance my leadership skills and have a complete overview and become well acquainted with the processes of implementing innovation strategies and the important elements of entrepreneurship. More importantly, the well-structured nature of the program will foster my growth as a responsible future business consultant practitioner.

As a student of business administration, I have been exposed to different promising business fields. However, one that really got a hold of my attention is that which concerns innovative business strategies. What I find interesting about the course is that it is able to combine multiple layers of innovative strategies together in order provide a revolutionary perspective in any institution. Just the thought of being able to acquire extensive research skills  and entrepreneurial knowledge from the program will definitely set the stage for me to return to my homeland in Qatar and assist me to start a consulting career based from the solid background that I would be acquiring from the program.

Considering that the MSc in Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship program is intentionally made to accomplish the objective of molding people who have the capabilities for innovation and business leadership, I ardently believe that my education and experiential activities would complement such objectives. As a Business Administration student, I have been exposed to various business related activities. Although I am not yet through with my undergraduate education, I have already mastered business models within the excel application such as optimization and regressions, which in turn helps me in precisely analyzing important data. Nonetheless, in the span of my undergraduate degree I have also acquired experiences in creating visual representations of process designs and social networks construct business plans, organizational and marketing strategies, which are all imperative factors in understanding the ins and outs of the business, and developing effective and innovative methodologies for the materialization of specific business projects.

From the very start, innovation and leadership have carved my mindset, and I have always been keen in making necessary changes so as to improve my craft. Likewise, my propensities to learn and excel at everything I do are also vital factors for my success. Because of these attitudes I have been an active member of the Qatari Student Network at Carnegie Mellon University. I also started working on an Education City Student Government, and became a founding member of the Al-Fahkoora humanitarian campaign, where I have worked with her highness Sheikha Moza Al-Missnad during the war in Ghaza. With the latter voluntary work of mine together with my colleagues, we spread awareness about childrens right to education and to reinforce this advocacy we started the first official student march in Doha, along with 3000 students.

Aside from my voluntary efforts, my corporate and entrepreneurial experiences also exemplify my strong pursuit for more knowledge about innovation and entrepreneurship. Having been able to embark my internships at Vodafone Qatar and RasGas Co Ltd, permitted me to acquire hands-on knowledge about the responsibilities and tasks of a young entrepreneur and take part on concise market research processes that can later on be applied to identify innovative methods for improving company perspectives. Nonetheless, my tenure as a young entrepreneur for Daam Angel Venture Capital gave me an overview on how to search for possible investors for certain projects, and develop my skills in working with people of diverse backgrounds. All of these efforts have fueled my desire to attain higher education not only to improve myself beyond my limits, but most importantly to be able to continue what I have already started, and be able to provide significant contributions in vital projects that are necessary for the development of Qatar.

As a person who gives high-regard for academic determination and perceives the fundamentals of trainings and higher education as relevant factors in improving ones craft, I am very much excited about obtaining my Masters in Science in Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship at (name of university). I find the idea of being in the situation where my actions would definitely provide immediate results to my community truly venerating and encouraging. I have already set my heart and mind toward achieving this goal, and I am very much determined to make this aspiration a reality. With my educational background, experiences and passion for innovative changes, I am certain that I could give value and significant contributions to the institute by accepting the challenges that would be laid upon me, and by committing myself to the institution as a whole.

Through working my way on the top, I know that the education and trainings that I am about to get in (name of university) would help me secure a strong application for my later practice. In return, I am ensuring the university that I am a good choice not only through my commitment but also by laying strong interest and self-actualization through the rest of my student tenure.
